When front teeth are very discoloured or mis-shapen you may require dental veneers. We can use tooth whitening to brighten them or use tooth coloured composite to shape but sometimes more is required to get a better aesthetic result.
Dental veneers are very thin coverings made from porcelain that our highly skilled dental technicians construct in the laboratory. Dental veneers can also be made chairside out of highly aesthetic composites as well. Porcelain veneers are then “glued” into place on the front surface of your tooth to perfect the shape and colour.
Dental veneers are thin coverings either in composite or porcelain applied to the front surface of your teeth.
They will improve the appearance both in shape and colour of the teeth. Once a decision is made to veneer your teeth we then need to decide if any preparation of your teeth is required, we tend to keep preparation to a minimum and sometimes we construct no preparation veneers.
Porcelain veneers are constructed in the laboratory by our very skilled dental technicians and are incredibly thin but incredible strong once attached to the front surface of your tooth.
Dental Veneers are a great way to restore aesthetics and function whilst maximising tooth tissue and keeping intervention minimal.
